He currently owns and manages a rental portfolio of 1,270 units (multifamily and self storage) in various markets including Michigan, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. Derek has been active in real estate since 2016 with an emphasis on commercial real estate. Derek is a 2010 graduate of Michigan State University. Derek currently works for General Motors as an Internal Investigation Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Science degree in Engineering Management.
